You're looking at the plates and it is a head portrait. But it is not diademed, it is a laureate crown. Don't worry about the plates right now.
No problem. Glad to help.

Now, I totally see that they are not the same coin...
Where do we go from here?

Repost the images for the coin on this page so that we don't have to keep flipping back and forth.
Now we have the bust number which is #10. We'll move to the next category which should be easy.

The next category is called "Obverses" on page 695. It's obverse legends.
Read the coin again and it says CONSTANTINVS AVG.
Now it's your turn. In this small table, find out which number it is and tell me.

Just out of curiosity are you trying to tell me to describe the coin in as much detail as I can instead of looking at the plates?

Quote: Just out of curiosity are you trying to tell me to describe the coin in as much detail as I can instead of looking at the plates? Absolutely. Because images can sometimes be misleading. It's important to attribute the details of a coin. I use the plates in the back as a guideline to look at. You are right, it is #4. Ok. Summarizing it. BUSTS: #10 OBVERSES: #4 Moving on to the next category which will be the other side of the coin which is the reverse.

One thing at a time.
Read to me the legend around the wreath precisely. Not inside of the wreath and not the bottom either. We'll get to that.

I agree, some of them are hard to read. Just keep reading them with each coin and then one day you will know by placement when they are worn.
It's CONSTANTINI MAX AVG.
This is where we run into a problem because it's not listed in AORTA. Might be in ERIC II, maybe. I'm going to list the details out for you and you should contact Rasiel about it as unlisted.
I hope you get the gist of how this system works now but we have to stop. Details coming.

Give him the info as well as the images. If he has the coins listed, he can give you the attribution but it is not in AORTA.
