I can not even locate the country for this coin:   I know the country, but can not identify the names etc. #1   #2   Sorry for lighting...I had LED desk light and all it did was create a glare where the plastic was. so I can tell you quickly that the last two are Israel
5 Agorot KM157. I cannot make out the date with the picture and tools that I have
10 Agorot KM158. Date might be 1996 or 1997 but again picture is not clear enough.
japan coin is a 10 Yen but I cannot make out details.
Hopefully someone with better tools or eyesight (or perhaps lighter and sharper pictures) can help

1. Japanese 10 yen, the date reads right to left. In this case 4 X 10, showa 40, 1965.
2. Israel, 5 Agorot, need a better picture to see the date.
3. Israel, 10 Agorot, 5754 (1994).

I used the LED strip and a LED flashlight to help against glare.   I have around 10 more Israel coins(10s and 5s). Good learning tools for me to learn how to read dates. :) |

Silver - spend $20 and get a good magnifying glass - some of them have buuilt-in LEDs.
After that, spend your next $30 on a loupe - fo really fine details.
After that: digital scales (50g, by 0.01g), caliper, and a magnet (any small magnet).
For your photography, get a tripod - a $5 will be fine for coins.
And learn to use your camera's timer.
Include a ruler for scale.
Lighting: depends on what you've already got. My dining table is near a window, and is pretty well illuminated during daytime, so I haven't forked out for a lamp. if I wanted to take pics while travelling, I may have to look into that.

5 Agorot looks like 5756 (1996) best I can tell.

Your first coin is a Japanese 10 yen.
They are still legal tender with an exchange value of +/- 10 US cents.
Yours appears to be dated Showa 51.

Peter - I have everything you listed except a magnifying glass. Going to stop by Hobby Lobby today after I wake up(work third shift). I even have lighting, but I did not want to break out my filming lighting(amateur YouTube filmer) and set it up as I was leaving for work. Also my camera has been sucking at macro photos for some reason. Those were shot with my Sony HANDYCAM. I need to figure whats wrong with the camera soon to document my grandfathers collection.
I'm not 100% on the Yen date as never had family over there in that time period(or since then). I forgot where I even acquired it. Reason I say that is because the year stated by a forum member does not match what I see on the coin.

Translated the Yen to 1976. :) Magnifying glass with light helps out A LOT.
