Hi jd,
Hope all's going well with you and yours... :)
To enhance the image you need to copy it into a picture editing program... I like to use Microsoft Office Picture Manager... I usually begin by increasing the size of the image as large as I can get to before the pixelation or focus breaks down...
By enhancing brightness and contrast you can take images that are too dark and tweak them up a bit to give you a better view of what's there... and by removing some of the colour saturation you may be able to reveal imperfections hiding beneath colour and sheen...
CCF forums only allow for a small size picture, so as mentioned it's best to put only one side of coin into an image... also for benefit of viewing make sure that the rotation is aligned... this can also be achieved in picture editing by rotating coin image by degree...
Make sure when taking original photos that you use macro setting on camera which will allow you to get closer to coin and achieve a more detailed image...
Re comments on grade... I agree that coin may be higher than VF30+... but not confident on making that estimation based on an enhanced image from an initial source that lacked clarity...
Hope that helped out some... :)
Take care, and Have a Great Tuesday!
