Anybody know if 5 oz is sold out or awaiting stock?

Wondering, what is easier: to type the text above or type " mint.ca" in the browser's address bar? ;-)

Dinos at Gatewest. At issue price - phone ordered only. No one answering the phone....we've seen this movie before.

@PrinceD11, they also have the 5oz SML 25th Anny at issue price.

question,
i want to buy the Dino coin, but don't want to pay for extra shipping. I had ordered the 2012 Farewell to penny roll yesterday, it is still processing.. can I cancel it and then reorder both together to say on shipping.?

If you cancel and try to reorder, the system will probably not allow the reorder because of the limit of 1 per customer.

You probably have to call and have them add the Dino to your order.

What they will end up doing is canceling your roll and making a whole new order for both. Their system doesn't allow for additions.

Rickynic, the Canadian mint is horrible at cancelling orders. I ordered two of both the Queen's Jubilee and Farewell to the Penny $20 for $20 coins via the Mint website. A guy at work asked if he could piggyback on my orders and get one of each for himself. (The second time after I specifically asked him if he wanted one.) I called the Mint and spoke to customer service and both times they said they would cancel the first web order and add in a new one with 3 coins. Since I send the coins to my sister-in-law's address in Canada to save shipping, it wasn't until we went to visit around the US Thanksgiving holiday that I found out I owned 5 of each. Unfortunately, I checked my credit card statements and they did charge me for all 10 coins. Fortunately though I was able to sell the excess ones on ebay all for a profit.

Gatewest have the 5oz available at issue price but I guess it make sense/better to order directly from the mint so you can maintain your MC membership.
It's actually cheaper for US customer to buy from Gatewest (in USD) than from the Mint (CAD + conversion fee). I bought mines through the Mint because of the above reason & because I didn't check Gatewest until afterward.

^^^^^^^

The only problem is the Mint is out of stock of the 5 oz SML. Only Gateway has it in stock at issue price.
