I have no horse in this race. As a trader, both silver and gold are looking good for a trade to buy but I need to see a better entry, the risk/reward just isn't there to take a trade on the buy side for my time frame.
Other than that, this has been a really dead/boring market. Until now,we have just churned around. Despite this latest push higher, we have seen this happen before where gold and silver run higher, break some ranges and fizzle out later, so there a few trades to be had here and there but thats it.

Both gold and silver getting pretty solid moves down, question remains as I had mentioned on Sunday,, is this a pull back or retracement before trying to move higher?
have to wait and see.

I bought good quantities of silver jewelry from Peru, when SPOT AG was $4.00 (+)
Wife resold it to friends etc.
Fun stuff was what we called the CLUNKERS. Between 1 and 2 oz on necklace pendents.
.925 ~`~`~`~` .950 ?
May have been back in about 2000. Maybe later.
Wish she would have kept more for her self.

With minimum wage going up toward $15/hr mark w/in the next 5 yrs. PM price doesn't have lots of chance to move down. Cost of living will increase, $ buying power going down ===> where will PM price go? Let us make a wild guess.

Until SPOT hit (about) $50. Dropped (about) 90% in a flash. te-he IMHO, PMs has a mind of its' own.

I have no idea where the future has in store for gold and silver and I certainly dont get paid doing that NOR do I care.
From my perch, gold and silver failed in their break outs. Gold never really got going out of its range. Silver did, had some continuation but the pull back knocked it back into its previous range.
Now that we have that out of the way, the question is- how deep will this pull back be? Are silver and gold going to the far end of their range that they now sit in?
These are the questions now that are of importance.

after a couple days, guess what.. gold and silver remain in a range! Surprise surprise.. not really.
what is interesting is in the price action, the pull back lasted about a day followed by some flat action these past two days.
Next week should bring us more clues as to what happens in a shorter time frame with this range.
Its pretty clear now tho what price points gold and silver have to hit and we will look at that this weekend together.

I don't think gold and silver price are going anywhere, it seems they have found their place for now. Investor demand, at least for gold is mostly central banks - unprecedented. Not until the big stackers, big countries, central banks, and ETF commodity investors reign things in prices will hold up. Currencies, debts, and interest rates changed the whole dynamic to what we see today. Money not worth much anymore?, or high inflations on your currency?, stack metal instead.

Welcome to Walmart" which would be a whole heck of a lot easier with a whole heck of a lot less stress.

IMHO, PMs has a mind of its' own. Domain, it's my understanding that in January 1980, the COMEX stepped in and suspended trading in silver, and changed the rules regarding silver trading. The Hunts dumped their silver and were bailed out by banks. So, was it a manipulated build-up and crash?

The Hunt Bros are wayyy before me but my understanding is COMEX would have changed the margin rules in this situation. But I dunno, thats all history now lol
I will try and get something done later this evening as we have tomorrow off. I dont see much again...tho, just another range for now...
