I have aquired a bag of old coins and I have no clue to there value I have tried many websites and ebay for ideas but its a mine field
there is
pennys 1707 onwards
farthings
three pence
six pence
crowns
etc if I do a list would any one be kind enough to tell me if any have a value before I sell them and get ripped off

If you post a list it would be much more helpful for the people here to give you an estimated value. Even if you put up some good pictures of the coins you have that would be even better. You might want to post your list of coins in the British section, they would probably be the most helpful to you.

Half penny token with thistle on front ,province of Nova Scotia rear 1840 and 1832

I advise you take pictures of the older stuff and the foreign stuff/tokens.

4 of the half crowns are 50% silver!

You can upload a picture directly to this site, click on reply to topic rather than just using quick reply and you will see the option to 'upload image'.

With the older coins the value is dependent on condition but as a minimum you have coins with a total silver value of £40+
