GoldenChest, sorry for your loss.Losing a close friend is as hard as losing a Family member. Keeping you and their family in my thoughts and prayers.

This is all too true of a statement, it's sometimes harder. I'm very sorry for your loss GoldenChest, hang in there.

Jwin, one of your riddles stumped me and my friends, and obviously many others here. Can you help us understand it?

Quote:
I can be big and I can be small.

Got it, fans can be different sizes.

Quote:
Most likely I'm in a case in your house.

Like a box fan is in a case, got it.

Quote:
I can also live comfortably on a farm.

How does a fan live comfortably on a farm?

Quote:
The water suits me fine too.

How does water suit a fan fine?

Quote:
When you need me I'll be there to do all the work,
unless I'm made cheaply, then you only get what you put in.

What do you "put in" a fan that comes out if it's made cheaply?

Quote:
But don't worry, I'm always praised for my loyalty.

This was explained as "sports fan", so I get that one.

Thanks in advance! I'd like to stop racking my brain.

No problem Cheezyfryes

It's referring to the wind turbines on a wind farm.

Boats use propellers underwater.

It's referring to paper fans, because anybody can make one with just one piece of paper folded a couple times, but to use it you have to do all the work yourself. Can't just plug it in and turn it on, etc.

I was stumped with that one too.. I thought it was a pocket (big or small, does your work for carrying things and does so loyally, A bin for storing grain on a farm, most suit cases have pockets, air pockets in water, and a cheap one won't give you back what you put in)

His other one got me too, I was sure it was a stick (walking stick for transportation, not a fan of canines, lying on the ground with friends, lots of uses, etc.)

Oh well - maybe next time :)

And because I didn't get a chance to say so earlier, sorry for your loss GoldenChest. It is never easy to lose someone; thankfully we always have them with us in your heads and hearts.

Not yet - but mail across the border can have a lot of deviation in terms of how long it takes. No worries :)
