- I have a coin from my collection that you will try to guess (eventually). - Three hints are posted below. One hint that can lead to each of the following if deciphered correctly: Date, Composition, and the Design/Country/Denomination of the coin. -Questions must be such that they are able to be answered by a Yes or No. Questions may not be directly related to the coin or the clues. For example: "Is the coin a 1926 Antarctica 20 Centavo?" (teeheehee) would not be accepted. -The coin in question (literally) may be from ANYWHERE!-Each CCF member will be permitted ONE guess at the coin. -Your guess may be given at anytime from the beginning of the game to the end. No indication will be given to the fact of whether or not your guess is correct until 24 hours after the last question has been answered. At the end the winner - the first person to guess correctly - will be declared the winner! -In order to be correct, you must give the date, denomination, and country of origin. -If you have any suggestions or questions, please let me know! Round 1:https://goccf.com/t/145432Round 2:https://goccf.com/t/148214 Hints: One for Date, Country, and one of the following: Design/Composition/Denomination.1. John Percival Jones 2. Matthew Webb 3. Martin Waldseemüller Ask away! No limit for the amount of questions. Asking deadline is Monday May 13 9:00 AM forum time, unless it needs to be shortened. Thanks!

Can we still only ask 1 question? I have to do a little research and I will be ready to ask. Just need to know if I can ask anymore quest. If there are not many participants.

Was it minted between 1900 and 1950? Is it from a European country? Does it have a person's portrait on it?
Based on our previous experiences, this seems like it will be a better format NN. This should go a bit smoother!

My guess: 1875 US Silver 20 Cents.
Reason: 1) Jones-Silver Miner 2) Webb-Swam English Channel in 1875. 3) Waldseemuller-Used word "America" for the first time on a map.
Also, Jones had a big part in minting the 20 cent piece.
LOVE this format Noah!

Nevermind the map My guess: 1875 US Trade dollarReason: Silver issues, prices declining after 1860. John P. Jones was a miner, so... I hope I am right.
