So I'm coming up on my 250 post milestone and as such would like to have a contest. I'm going to put together a little prize package including silver and some fancy banknotes. There may be multiple prizes awarded. Details too follow.
The rules.
1. To enter this.contest, you must submit a joke or riddle to me through a PM only. Include the answer, the answer for a joke will be the punch line.
2. You may enter up to 3 jokes/ riddles. One of them must be coin related however. BE CREATIVE! The honor system is in force here. Please try to be original. Remember the harder you make the jokes the less likely others can answer them correctly.
3. The deadline to enter this contest is the day and time.I reach 250 posts on my post counter.
4. After the deadline, I will post all the jokes/riddles here. Anyone who entered will then be allowed to answer all the jokes through a PM only. This is to prevent copy and.pasting. and please dont just google the answer.
5. The contest will end when.all entries have answered or 3 weeks from my 250 post, whichever happens first.
6. You must have 50 posts to play.
7. Please be in the US or CA. I'm sorry but overseas shipping is a nightmare.
8. You cannot change answers once they have been submitted.
9. Ill PM you if you submit a joke.that has already been submitted and you may submit another.
10. I will come up with a few tiebreakers questions if we need them.
11. The winners will be determined as such
A. The member who's joke get the least amount of correct answers.
B. The member who answers the most jokes correctly.
C. My favorite joke submitted.
I belive thats everything. I will post prizes within 2 weeks. Any editing of the rules and.prize distribution will be finalized by feb 28th Lets get these jokes rolling fokes!
As always I'm open to suggestions.

PM sent with three riddles (2 coin related). I understand answering riddles but I'm unclear on how to answer a joke or pun? Could you clear the rules up a bit for me? And I think people should have to answer in PM's so no copying/pasting happens... O, nevermind... I just saw "details to follow"... My bad..  Very cool idea for a contest! Can't wait till it starts! I LOVE riddles... My buddy and I mail them back and forth every week trying to stump one another...  some are very very hard! |

Ah. Thats a good point nathan. I edit it as such.
You must enter a coin riddle or joke. The punch line for the joke will be the answer. Puns will be one of the tie breakers.
The honor system is in force here. Please try to be original. Remember the harder you make the jokes the less likely others can answer them correctly.
Also those are some great riddles you have sent me. Going to be tough to beat. Exactly what I would.like.for this.contest.

Lol, I know it's your contest and I'm not trying to "take it over", lol, but just a suggestion- instead of who can answer the most maybe it should be who had the least, if any answers to their jokes/riddles.. Just because if its not an original joke/riddle (made by the submiter).. the answers can usually be googled... So there will be a lot of people with correct answers, and it will encourage people to be original... Ya know what I mean? Like the three people who posted the hardest, least answered jokes/riddles would be the winners? Sweet, I'm glad you liked the ones I sent... Did you try to figure them out before reading the answers?  Again I'm sorry.. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your contest, just a suggestion to lessen the number of ties... Then maybe for a tiebreaker (if there are ties) the tied people can submit another riddle/joke to each other and the one that can answer it wins... Lol... And if both get it right it continues to another until someone gets it right..? |

I figured out the last one before reading the answer. The other two had md stumped.
I welcome your suggestions. They will help me make this a fair contest. I'm about edit the prizes awarded.

Just bumping. Averaging 5 posts a day since I started this. With 45 posts to go, thats about 9 days left to submit riddles. I have 4 submissions thus far, each with 3 riddles each. So get yours in before someone else does!

PRIZES! That's what its all about right? Well here they are, nothing too fancy, but I think they are nice. The member who's joke gets the least amount of correct answers will receive 1977 BU Ike dollar1951-S Franklin half F12 1939 Jefferson nickel G4 1903 Liberty nickel G4 1867 w/o rays Shield nickel AG3 and also a scrambled ladder serial $1 FRN and and an UN $2 bill probably series 2003. No pics of these at the moment. This winner will be determined off of individual jokes.  The member who answers the most jokes correctly will receive: 2011-D Garfield $1 coin, AU, a low mintage year and potential key date. 1963-D Franklin half dollar, F12 1911 Liberty nickel G4  The member who submits my favorite joke/riddle will receive: 1966 Kennedy half XF/AU 1912 Liberty nickel G4 1910 Liberty nickel G4  Sorry for the cruddy pics, best I can do with my phone. also the grades are of my own opinion and I am not a expert yet. 19 posts left before the submission deadline! Yes! I knew I was missing somebody, must have overlooked it half a dozen times, your email was sandwiched between two subcribed topic notices. I shall update it asap. Good jokes btw.
