use these tags woth the word "code" properly spelled to have the forum render the text inside of them in monospace and honor however many spaces you put in the text: [c0de][/c0de]

I've found you can also get the forum to generate this tag by clicking the button with the # in the full "reply to topic" page

Type it up in typewriter/monospace font on another program, make it look good at 80-90 characters wide, and paste it into the code tags here.

Your text will look something like this. 
CAUTION: this text wont wrap around like the rest of the text on the forum
so you'll have to mind the text as you would a typewriter, if you've ever
used one, so that the resultant page does not fall off the screen to the
right.
