Probably because they do it more for slow moving coins, ones that don't sell more than a few a day. Selling close to 10000 in less than a month needs no incentive to buy.

Strangely enough, a friend of mine was in the Vancouver boutique and thought he saw it, too. He wasn't terribly interested in it, but knew I was. I asked him to get a photo and he said he would. However, when he went back, it definitely wasn't there and he emailed me, saying "Sorry, I guess I was mistaken." I wonder if there was some promotional poster that both he and Theone saw in the Vancouver boutique. As I say, my friend wasn't interested in it so he might just have noted something in the back of his mind and made a mental transcription error.

Just curious, why people care about when this coin will be sold out, by checking it every single day?
Is it for resale purpose?
I only ordered one for my collection.

The mallards single coin also sold out, before people seen it in hand.
But if sold out at Mint. It is still available on CP website.

Different being that we pretty sure the mallard coin will look like the catalog picture where as for the dragonfly, we are unsure how the holygram would look. Especially when they are raving about the new technology and etc. The catalog picture is very cartoonish. Plus, don't forget, the mallard coin also have a box for subscription. Edited by Lostwords
