Why did they release this coin in March when they are shipping in April? Why didn't they wait until April when the April releases would be available? That makes no sense to me.

Because it's RCM, where very little makes sense! But they probably did it cause they didn't want it to get overshadowed by Butterfly Mania. As long as it does ship in April I won't have a problem, but if it turns into Two Loons Part II then it'll be the last time I order a coin from them that's due to be released a month after it goes on sale. |

@ Solidifier How can you tell how many they have left? I don't see it posted at the mint anywhere that I could see .

@Northerncoins just enter 999 and ti will tell you that it does not able to fill the order.. keep lowering until they allow you to place the order.

I think as time getting closer to the butterfly, people start to cancel this more to spend on the butterfly instead or the Grandma moon mask

Looks like a lot of people "suddenly" stops to like the Dragonfly.
Do not think, that someone who wants to see it in his collection canceled the order.
Well, maybe the Dragonfly is something innovative, but IMO, the Grandmother Moon Mask more valuable.

Ya could be as the Moon Mask only has a mintage of 6000. I think I will wait for that one, the dragon fly looks nice and all but I cant afford to buy every coin ...  Edited by Northerncoins

Last time I saw it was 'Awaiting Stock'.
Now Mint's website isn't responding.

A lot of speculating going on with this coin.
No one has an image other than the cartoon looking image on the website and it's sold out.
It's going to be interesting to see if it's going to be a bust (at $79.95 for 1/2oz.).
It all depends how nice this hologram is when we finally get to see it.

I got myself a few of these dragonfly. I can always return or sell them to someone else if I don't like it. Much better than not buying now and wanting to get them later at an inflated price.
