Coin-Friendly Banks In California? - Coin Community Forum

florida Valued Member United States 417 Posts	Posted 02/28/2013 01:19 am I moved out to the San Francisco area last year, and have found banks to be pretty hostile towards dumping coins. BOA wants to charge me $5 for any large amount, and other credit unions have machines that charge you those pesky percentage fees. (It's times like this, I miss Florida a lot.) So are there any friendly banks out here? I've only found US Bank to be my only option as they would allow me to bring in a few coins at a time with no issues. P.S. sheeptotherescue Valued Member United States 154 Posts	Posted 02/28/2013 10:36 am I always put the coins back in the rolls after I search them, replacing the coins I took with other ones. But I don't search that often. I've read other people talking about getting coin rollers for themselves to avoid what you and I have to face.
