dug this out completly by accident while digging a trash signal in a old foresty camp seems like it came in with some gravel they had hauled in to make the road it has strange crystal tubes running through it and it is very heavy I tried to cut it to see if it was a geode but it is too hard to cut any ideas what it is

I've seen several movies that started out this way... they usually didn't end up too well for the guy who tried to open the object up.

Just kidding, but I have no idea what that could be. Best of luck.

Probably not my brightest idea, but you could use a hammer? I know that would most definitely damage it, but you would be able to see the inside of it.

Very hard and very heavy,my first thought was a meteorite but the look is odd for that, soooo. If you want to try and break it open how about a bench vise and squeeeez it till it breaks open?

My first thought was geode as well, so really have no idea then. Maybe a fosilized dinosaur egg? Can you say Jurassic Park IV?

don't hit it with a hammer--it's much nicer intact.
I look for fossils myself, and this definitely looks organic.
I've never seen anything quite like it, but it looks like something marine--coraline or bryozoan.
Post the pics to a fossil ID site, like Discovering Fossils on Facebook.

I have seen rupees and collect them. Have about 20, covering from mughal times.

I have seen roopoos, but I don't collect those.

Quite apart from mirth, I am still curious about density.
To that end, some info. on weight and dimensions would be helpful for more accurate comments.
