I don't know if it's a problem on my end or your server, but the threads aren't loading for me. The ads, navigation devices, and footer load properly but the individual threads/topics are missing. Anyone else having this problem? Edited by ThisIsFun 03/10/2013 04:38 am

Hmmm. Wonder what's going on then and more importantly, how to fix it.

Argggh, I can't fix it!
Please, can anyone help?
I did try from my barely-still-functioning Windows laptop and I can see everything on that computer. So it's just a problem on this new MacBook Pro. After a lifetime of PC, I'm still learning how to use the Mac. Have to say that I disagree with their slogan "It just works". Nope, it DOESN'T just work. This is not the first problem I've had.
With PC/Windows I had some idea of how to troubleshoot and fix things but with the MacBook, I have no clue.
Any Mac users out there? Can you help? Everything seems to be up to date. No idea why this problem began last night.

It's definitely not a server issue, everything is working fine.

I suppose you are using the native Mac browser. Maybe try Chrome for OS X.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will download that now. Didn't even know there was a Chrome for OS-X. Chrome was my browser of choice with PC.

Thanks, Rui. I can see the threads with Chrome. But the pages load SO s-l-o-w-l-y now. My ISP is a snail anyway... now the loading is even slower :(
I wonder why this problem occured. I'm using the latest edition of Safari and hadn't made any changes. Double-checked for updates, there were none. Perhaps CCF or their host made some minor change that affected the appearance in Safari?

Hi,
Nothing has changed with CCF servers. I have no knowledge of Bobby changing anything that would affect Safari's ability to display the forum posts, which I find unlikely, but he will be able to confirm that soon.
I have no knowledge of Safari or Macs, but maybe there are settings similar to those on Windows like temporary files or options to reset settings that can be of use.

Must be something like that. Something specific to this Mac.
The pages are loading in Chrome but it takes 15-20 seconds for the threads (topics) to appear. The header, sidebar, and footer appear very quickly-- it's just the threads that are taking a long time.

Might try clearing Safari's cache

Huh, I just opened Safari again and everything is loading now, and loading quickly. I did not clear the cache (was opening it up to do that).
