I am struggling with either the font or the language, there's several places where there's a letter that looks like a double "I" and can't figure it out. I can make out "medioevo" which I think is Italian but that's about it. (And of course the Roman numerals). Thanks!! Report this Post to the Staff

philadelphian Pillar of the Community United States 3253 Posts	Posted 03/12/2013 3:22 pm Well, the seraphs head surrounded by six wings on the obverse is from the civic heraldry of Sarnano, in Italy, which I believe is spelled out above it.
