Well I don't have a rep but I'm a MC - I guess we will see what they have left when I get the email... I think there will not be some happy people if they are sold out.

^^^^^^^ Don't wait for the email. Sign in as MC member tonight or early tomorrow to order the coins. Any delay may cost you from getting the glass butterflies.

What I see in previous releases, the release time was 9:00 - 13:00 EST. But sure, do not need to eliminate midnight possibility.
And as per previous releases - the first hours of the MC release the performance of the Mint site will be poor...hope the fixed it (or will fix).

I think butterfly is mint's coin of the year'13 so I don't expect similar exitement with next releases. Although, who knows, they may release another 5-coin glow-in-the-dark duck penny and whistle set ;-)

Wow. It will be interesting to see what happens if one or more don't even make it to MC.
For many MC, the whole point of MC would be lost. (And before you even think it, getting free shipping for something you can't get, is useless)

On the RFD forum, there is talk the butterfly coin my sell out today before hitting MC status tomorrow. How is that possible with 10,000 coins? And how many people have reps anyway?
And like others say, what is the point of MC membership if you can't even order hot coins? Maybe they should raise the limit for MC membership. The $1000 limit is easy to get, just order one of the 1913-1914 $10 gold coins.

Not everyone will spend $1000/yr to maintain their status.

If there's only 10,000 coins and thousands of people all trying to buy there 3 coins each,so they can sell 2 of them for profit, its probley going to happen.....(I learned my lesson from the duck sub and have one butterfly reserved from a RCM rep) I couldnt get a Duck subscription, because of "Greed"/people buying multiple duck subscriptions and flipping them for a profit....it sucks ,however I'm not dumb enough to give someone an extra $100 of my money for maple wood and a $5 duck call, when they got it for free.....

Are you kidding me? I don't see how 10,000 coins could be gone that fast either. If a MC member can't get a new release I'll be making a phone call.... It will be interesting to see what happens

Some part will be allocated to the Dealers and the CP, so not all the 10.000 initially available. But, since mint doesn't take pre-orders, except today for some MC with assigned to them rep, some amount will get into MC tomorrow. What may occur - due to have load on the Mint site and phone lines - not everyone will be able to make a purchase, while others will be buying 3 coins, and then the coin will go to "Awaiting Stock". Quote: I'll be making a phone call.... It will be interesting to see what happens In worst case - you'll be waiting a hour on the line, and then the rep will say, that "Unfortunately my system shows that all coins have been sold" But I do not think that it will happen - the Penny set also was expected, and (if I remember correctly) was available for couple of days in the MC release.

We don't know how many MC members the Mint have. Suppose there are 3000 of them and each order 3x the coins, they will will sell out very fast. Plus some people have more than one MC membership. Also, Canada Post get an allotment, not to mention dealers.
