@silverrocket - They probably oversold some. They probably contacted to post offices to say. So I phoned 2 post offices in my town today. One main. She said she did not know so the manager will be contacting me tomorrow and the second one will also.

Hey all... just out of curiosity, is the moon mask coin really worth $150? I bought the new Venetian butterfly and maple canopy coins... feels like the moon mask doesn't have the same value though.

Is it worth $150 No, considering its only about 30 grams of silver, you can buy a 1 ounce bullion coin for a few dollars over spot appox $30 or so.
The issue is not whats its worth but what your willing to pay/over pay for a silver coin.

The real question is are you buying for your collection or trying to sell it later on. If you're buying for yourself and you like then $150 is reasonable however if you're gonig to try and sell it later on you may not get what you think for it as its showin to be a limited crowd that likes it. IMO

The moon mask was just in stock but I just noticed that it is now awaiting stock. That went quick.

If you bought it from the RCM - so, yes, the issue price for both coins is 150.00

If it worth it?
Depends...if you want it in your collection - the issue price will be initial value.
If you look into the metal content - no, doesn't worth.
For resale - the time will tell.

My friend, that collects antique coins, when saw the butterfly coin in the PO catalog, told me "I'll probably buy this jewelry for $50.00"

I emailed my rep this morning asking for 2 more, he didn't hesitate to say it shouldn't be an issue, now they are on the website again. I think the mint has learned to hold back stock for the non-masterclub memebers......and the squeaky wheels.
