I'd always believed that the COA goes out for shipping is a random process, NOT any more. The RCM must have a very sophisticated algorithm to pick them based on the time, the date, stars alignment, personality, and a multitude of other secret factors. Again, it's just another jelly person talking here I'd never had any good COA after two years of excessive spending on RCM products. Very sad...haha!

54dollarcoin, I agree with you completely, but there is a silver lining to this cloud. Chances are, the lucky person who sold those rolls is a collector, and I'll bet at least half that profit went back into the hobby and market.... an infusion of new cash from both those roll sellers, whether it is in bullion or key dates, would be a good thing....

There was a very strong attendance and very strong buying this past weekend at Nuphilex... George V and VI small cents were especially popular...

SPP we are very busy with cents as well. Selling many key dates in all grades and also people putting sets together. You are right I hope that seller buys some nice Vicky or Edward stuff with the profits!

I am the winner of rolls 1/20,000 and 2/20,000. I am a Protective Services Officer at the Royal Canadian Mint Winnipeg facility, and I was there to witness the final striking of the last penny. The penny is very important to me, and I feel that this is the end of an era.

I am very happy to have these 2 rolls. I congratulate the winner of roll 20,000/20,000, I would have loved to have won it; I placed my bid at $6,500. I will hold and cherish these rolls for the rest of my life.

and Congradulations for winning them. I actually thought it was someone working in the mint that took them and sold

Ooooh.... as an error collector, I can only dream of refilling your pockets with cash...

Welcome to the site, do you collect other coins or older 1-cent coins?
