Good morning, Here is a coin that's been sitting around my house for many years. It was pulled from change and appears to be a genuine filled-die error. I gather these are pretty common but still worth more than face value. This one struck me as a keeper.
Looks like a filled die to me ,, as to being worth a premium ? filled dies are a very common error and it has been my experiance that they do not usually carry any added value .
If just a small detail is missing, it can be an effect of it being lost by overly agressive die polishing. but one this coin, since so much detail is missing it can be assumed that is a die occluded by grease or other debris.
