Edmonton only has one line too... come on, I'll bet ours is worse. I'll fight you for it.
It's just called the LRT, and so is Calgary's, which is pretty pan-Albertan.
As for latest finds...? I think I saw a Terry Fox loonie without much grass.

I'm sure I could win this argument. The O-Train goes from a largely derelict industial site to a big box shopping centre out in the southern suburbs. It was going to go to the airport (the only really useful function IMHO) but the powers that be decided they could not afford it, lol. The only people that really benefit from the line are the students of Carleton University, which is on the line.
Back on topic: Found my first 2013 loonie.

10 more nickel rolls (from a different bank)... 69, 100% nickels, 2 twelve sided (60 & 62), 1 other young queen (1964), 3, 2001 no P, And 6 Americans. Overall I got four rolls that had nothing over 2005, out of the four rolls two had 14 100% nickels, one had 13 and the other had 10. I got three 2005 commemoratives, two 2004s and one 2003 in the four rolls. Everything else was between 1982-2002.

Picked up 4 rolls of nickels and $103.50 worth of pennies today (3 bags and 57 rolls). My regular teller was there and thanked me for taking them so she didn't have to ship them out. Weighed the bags just to see how consistent they would be. They ranged from just under 13lbs to over 14lbs.
So far I've went through the nickels and the 57 rolls of pennies. Only found 5 nickels from 1981 and before which is a pretty sorry yield. In the pennies I was most happy about finding 2 1954's which allowed me to finish two more sets back to 1937. Found 7 wheat pennies including a 1948s which I didn't have. Also found a couple Chinese coins and a 2 euro cent.

Finished one bag and into another one now. Found another 1954 and a couple wheat cents. So far I've also found 6 dimes. The great thing about searching bags is that other change tends to get mixed in with it and when you're searching pennies that can only be a good thing. Dimes are fairly common but I just found a loonie! Back to the hunt.

Finished the second bag and found another loonie. Also found a quarter and some nickels and dimes. In total about $3.50 in non-penny finds. Didn't find anything too interesting, couple Barbados one cent coins, some from the 1940's and some wheat cents.

I wish I found that many foreign coins!
All I get are American, British, (5p = 10c, 10p = 25c, 20p = 5c) and Euro (2Ec = 1c) coins, but then, pennies are better for that because people will accept any likely copper disc you throw at them. I can't remember my last really unexpected foreign find - but I wouldn't even be that mad if I found, say, half a new shekel in a loonie roll. (Try it - a close match! But then take it back out.)
Once school re-starts, I can get back to hitting up different banks in my spare time.

Went through the last bag. Best find was a 1920 Canadian cent. Also found 5 wheat pennies and a 1947. There were a bunch of foreign coins: 2 UK one pennies and a 2 New Pence, 2 one cents from Bermuda, a 1 euro cent and 2 euro cents, another Chinese coin, a German 2 pfennig and a Un Centesimo De Balboa from Panama.

Picked up 15 rolls of pennies at the bank today. Found 2 wheat cents and one is 1951 which I needed. Only foreign coins were 2 two euro cents. Also found a 2007 steel cent which stood out. The copper plating is mostly gone from the rim and the coin just looks odd to me. I can't tell if it's PMD or something mint related so I just put it in a 2x2.
