An interesting weekend of Roll Hunting. Out of 20 rolls of nickles 4 rolls of dimes a roll of loonies and toonies here's the results: 07 1960's Canadian 5 cents oldest being one 1961 14 1970's Canadian 5 cents 14 1980's Canadian 5 cents 21 1990's Canadian 5 cents 05 2000 Canadian 5 cents 09 2000's U.S. 5 cents of witch I had one Buffalo nickle one Louisiana purchase and one Lewis and Clark 06 1990's U.S. 5 cents 07 1980's U.S. 5 cents a 1962 & 1964 U.S. 5 cents and a 1941 U.S. 5 cents! Of the loonies I got a nice 2011 and a Montreal Canadians 2009. Toonies or twonies however you may spell it I found a nice wait for me daddy a mint 2014 regular and a remarkable 1996 in excellent shape. I've got enough 2013 and 2014 5 cents to fill a roll so no shortage anymore in South West Ontario. I also picked up one Brock one Laura Secord a 2000 family and a us 2005 West Virginia in my change. All of the nickles received at the bank were sorted so I went to a local store and exchanged them all for all the personal rolls they had. I also went to another bank and exchanged the sorted for more personal rolls! Great hunting weekend! Now to inspect them all!

Very nice penny ace, is that an off-centre or broadstrike? I sometimes find it quite amazing that obvious error pennies get circulated quite well.

I am not sure what the difference is. Or if they are interchangeable terms? It's my first major error that I found, I was a little upset when I saw the date, because I know that 80/81 had a lot of clips ( I have 5 or 6 myself). I would be interested in knowing what people think it may be worth?

Ace - post it in the Canadian errors section. I think that one will fetch a decent amount. I hesitate to give a number as errors are not my forte

Picked up 28 rolls of pennies at the bank with older Canadian finds being: 1943, 1953, 1956, and 1958. Only found 1 Wheat cent which is a 1928. Also found a nickel, a 5 Euro cent coin, a 10 Euro cent coin, and a one cent from Barbados.

Here is a strange nickel I found the one side is a rust colour, and the other side is blue.

Quote: O-train; Does the Barbados one have the pig? I like the piggie. The pig/wild boar is on the Bermuda one cent. The Barbados one cent has a trident on one side and coat of arms on the other. I also just read that Barbados has phased out their one cent coin effective May 7, 2014.
