The Mint boutique in Vancouver got 3 coins in. While I was there, they just sold two, and one is left as of closing time.

FINALLY !!! I got my Canopy coins from J&M.
It's true, they are absolutely nice. The green color is cool.
What I don't know is why I was charged for PST and HST (much more than related to shipping costs) if it's 0.99 silver. I will find out how they have calculated it ....

IF this is a series does anyone know the next in line? I originally ordered two and sold them but then bought one from a friend because the color and design is amazing.

If you live in BC, you should be only charged PST of 7%. There is no GST on fine silver coin. Outside of BC, you should be charged no tax at all if you order from J&M Coins. For BC coin collectors, if you buy from dealers outside of BC, you will be no taxes for fine silver coins. This would include coin dealers like Gatewest which is based in Manitoba. CDNcoin and Colonial Acres in Ontario are also tax free.

But do you get taxed if you buy from RCM (not the boutique)? Since it is not located in BC

Hawaii), and a minimum of C$40.00 per kilogram overseas (including South America). These shipping rates assume typical orders. Large quantity or heavy packages will result in increased shipping fees, lighter items may be less expensive. All Canadian orders with a value of C$1,000.00 or more must be shipped by Priority Post for insurance purposes. GST (Goods and Services Tax) or HST (Harmonised Sales Tax) applies to orders delivered in Canada. No taxes are applicable to pure silver, gold, or platinum bullion (.999 purity or better) product purchases." https://www.jandm.com/ordering.htm

So, here is the scan of my bill. What I think they did, is charge me PST (7% of the total $ 212.4) and HST (5% of just $ 12.5).... I don't understand why. Also, they typed Montreal British Columbia in my address so maybe that caused the mistake ..... btw I didn't know there was a city called Montreal in BC. I will call tomorrow .... please .... what is the real amount of taxes I should be charged?

It looks like they charged you HST on the Banknotes of $2.50 and Shipping of $10.00, not on the canopy.

Even if they charged you HST and on the notes and the shipping charges, you should should only have to pay $1.50 in taxes if your HST is at 12%. I thought they got rid of HST in BC anyways.

The only correct charge is the .62 ($2.50 +$10.00), which they mistakenly call HST. It is actually 5% GST. While there is no GST applicable to pure silver coins, banknotes would be subject to GST. And I suppose they can say shipping is subject to GST.
The $14.86 PST (7%) charge (which they based on the $2.50 +199.9 +10.00) is completely wrong since it would be only charged to BC residents. I live in BC and I guarantee you there is no city or town called Montreal.
They got rid of the HST in BC and went back to the PST system. BC coin collecters did not have to pay HST on pure silver coins. With the tax changeover, we now have to to pay 7% PST on coins.
