Hi,
here I have a $1 1957 SC bill with a blue back.
I never saw a SC bill with a color like this.
What do you think about it, a true error or just a fake?

Since the BEP did not change the color of the ink used, it was probably one of those that got put the laundry. Not a real error IMHO.

Exactly as Jim said, classic case of discoloration.
Just like those yellow seal $2 legal tenders you see on ebay, same deal.
They are legitimate bills though.
