Hi folks!
This is what 2 hours detecting turned up this morning. Pretty average of what you will get on the average site, this site was an old playing field dating back to 1895.



What-2-Hours-Detecting-Turned-Up.

Starting from top left :-

1902 Edwardian penny, 1947 george vi penny, .925 silver spoon handle, lead ball, 1914 george v half penny, post decimal 2 penny cut by lawn mower?, Large disk soft metal, large iron tractor part, lead tile strip, post decimal 5p, 1930's arrow head, 1840's farthing, some type of badge, modern 2p and a modern 1p.

This is what you will see from a general metdet search. Granted sometimes nice items turn up but this IS the norm.

You will never soar like an eagle if you hang around with turkeys.....

good finds, as long as I find at least one coin on a hunt I'm happy.
