"Although this is a stunning coin 1948 Melbourne pennies are one of the easiest dates to get in high grades with nice lustre."

This is a nice one I picked up on ebay earlier this year:

1948-Penny-Orange-Luster

1948-Penny-Orange-Luster

People often say that this is an easy coin to find in high grades but despite months of looking I still haven't been able to find a better one. Can anyone help?

Only MS63? Surely you jest!

Here's an MS64RB currently listed on ebay:

Isn't mine a whole lot better?

Plus mine is red - or, rather, a straw gold colour, which is the correct one for Aussie 'reds.'

You can't tell from that picture if it is red, but if it is, than it probably would get a ms-64rd.
