While not a lover of coloured coins - call me old fashioned - I do covert (hehe just noticed this typo, maybe too much wine and too many crime shows - should be COVET ) this series.

http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalog...er-coin.aspx

I have the second coin (emu) and just shelled out the bucks for the third (kangaroo) and I'm still trying to hunt down a bargain on the first coin (koala).

Hi awildeheart, the 1st coin was the Emu, the 2nd was a Kookaburra which seems to be much more sort after than the Emu,it's hard to pick which ones will be more sort after.

Ha! Appleangel07, we both have it wrong. My excuse is my fourth glass of red, what is yours?

1. Kookaburra (I want)
2. Emu (I have)
3. Kangaroo (I have ordered)

Wow, if that's a coin then I'm a fairy princess....okay, sure it has "1 dollar" on it, but seriously?!?!?

Other than those in this series, are there other map-shaped "coins"?
