Still holding around 23, it's at 23.32 an Oz. next week when I get back from New Orleans I'm planning on buying around 500 dollars in melt value coins and just put them away.

It might just get to $20 if it keeps it up.

On June 07 2013 it's at 21.63. I just forked out just over 600 dollars buying quarters and halves. I paid 4$ for quarters 8$ for halves, and some of the coins are in real nice. shape.

Looks like it's heading lower; one of those falling knife thingies is starting to happen... hope premiums don't go up again...
Good deal, jsbruton, especially since the coins are in nice shape!

What me Worry? Now I sound like Alfred E. Newman for those of you familiar with Mad magazine. 90% of my silver and I have a few troy lbs. of it I got at cost and I would only worry if it fell to under .50 a troy oz. Life is too short to worry especially over something you have no control over. Be Cool and enjoy life.

I kinda wish I had some spare funds right now to snag some silver, but that would pretty much guarantee that the price would continue to plunge.

I'm headed back this weekend and buying Morgans, I'm trying for fifteen but would be happy with twenty, plus I have a lot of holes to fill in both books.

If you are a chartist, and from the graph above, it looks as if silver won't go much below $20. IMO, I suspect that it may go a little below $20. By the same token it could be above $30 by 2016, but I don't think so.
At this stage, better to be an pessimist, rather than an optimist, for the next couple of years. Review your strategy after then.

sel_69l: How to you look at the chart I provided and conclude that silver won't go much below $20? Even adjusted for inflation silver has only been above $20/ oz for about 10 of the last 50 years.

It's June 22 2013 and I can't remember the last time silver was under 20.00 it's now 19.85. If there is an ugly coin you want to replace this is the time to do it. All 36 of my Ben Franklin halves are MS, all but about 15 of my walking Liberty's are mint state, all Peace dollars are MS, and all but three of my quarters from 32 to 2013 are MS.63 or better.

Going to take some time next week at the three local stores I frequent. I have not done serious shopping in 5 months as I watched silver drop. I will be interested to see what the premiums are on MS Peace and XF Walkers and what the supply looks like. I made a quick visit about a month ago and the premiums brought the price back to what it was before the drop.

I'll be happy when 0.6 oz of silver is sold as $10 with markup.
Then I'll buy as many Canadian silver dollars as I can get my hands on :U
