One of the few items I acquired at the coin show last week was this medal. It is my favorite purchase from the show even though it has seen some wear and has a couple of rim bumps. Better in hand than in my pictures (but my pictures ARE improving!). Thanks for taking a gander!

Nice medal! It will, either now or someday, fit well next to your Wisconsin half-dollar for the same event/anniversary.

In case you were wondering, these medals originally sold for $1.00; the 50-cent pieces sold for $1.50.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice looking Medal, Congrats!! Are you from Wisconsin? Or did you just like the medal. I am hoping to get one of the comm. halves someday. I live in Wisconsin, near Green Bay.

I liked the medal. Ever since I started following the commemorative threads, I have come to appreciate all the other things that go with them.
