I think it's more VF than EF. Don't see a lot of worn ones any more, I remember in the 1979 silver run up getting a 1/4 bag of them all circulated in for melt, I wish I had kept some of the really worn ones, there were a few Goods and VG ones in that lot.

I remember when I got my first one and was stunned to find such an old coin in great condition for only silver value. I was able to acquire a few early commemoratives from coin bags headed to the smelter back in the Hunt brothers spike.
