I keep almost NO images of myself on a computer, so it took me some time to find this. We shall see how long it lasts before I think better of it!

No choice now, my friend. I have left it too long and the power to remove it has passed from my hands to the moderators. Such is the transient nature of individual autonomy.

WC....you and four nameless others (so far) should know that you aren't alone in asking me about my new chosen location. I had little clue it would attract so much attention. ;-)
So I suppose the answer to your question is that the social scene is just rockin'.

Quote: So I suppose the answer to your question is that the social scene is just rockin'. In that case, I just might join you! I live in New England: there's snow on the ground, the temp is hovering around 0°C, and the trees are just about completely bare. So you could say I'm living the authentic Antarctican experience!

V.C. I found a couple of photos (not mine) that show what we were talking about - nightly walks with Penguins and body surfing with Seals in my 'back yard' near the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. (Was it really almost 30 years ago?)

Beautiful TC. Love those penguins. I honestly didn't know that any penguins migrated as far north as Oz.

Those ones are called 'Fairy Penguins'. They have been known to enter Port Philip Bay and get as far as the city of Melbourne. I'd vote for them.
(P.S. A bit of trivia - The Capitol of Australia is located in Canberra because Sydney thought that it should be, and Melbourne thought it should be, so the compromise was half-way between the two.)
