XavierOfGreen Pillar of the Community United States 2589 Posts	Posted 05/07/2013 11:01 am Eisenhower dollars are too big to go through the reject slot of most counting machines, so once someone puts them into the machine they simply stay in the counting basin until someone pulls them out. If you've worked on the machines for any length of time you know the sound of Eisenhower rattling in the basin quite easily. Report this Post to the Staff

If the machine is one of those where you can touch the spinning rubber disc thing, I always spin it backwards before I pour my coins in. You would be surprised how often something comes back out! I found a 500 Shillings coin the other day. It was about the thickness of 2 quarters so it didnt go through. Report this Post to the Staff
