stringboogie Valued Member United States 169 Posts	Posted 05/11/2013 09:29 am just bought this in a problem free pcgs ag3 holder and as usual continued combing archives to compare it to other examples in the same grade range.much to my surprise I find the very same coin in a ngc ag3 improperly cleaned holder from 2011.did pcgs simply feel it hadn't been cleaned?was it cracked out recolored and slipped by pcgs?or did pcgs deem it had been properly cleaned? SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 05/11/2013 2:03 pm The fact that a TPG has called a coin cleaned isn't an indication one way or another. Had I gotten this one back in a Details holder the first time, though, I'd certainly have cracked and resubmitted it. Doesn't look cleaned to me. Report this Post to the Staff

That said there is nothing that looks remotely unnatural about that. Unless NGC is planning on labeling every large cent improperly cleaned PCGS got it right Report this Post to the Staff
