I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore coins but then I saw these and just couldn't resist bidding at that price! All come from Lucernae too

Claudius quadrans

They are battered and beat up but I just couldn't let them go. $13.50 for all three not including shipping.

Yeah I tend to impulsively hit 'bid' when I shouldn't. Getting a little bit of overtime on this paycheque so I don't feel as bad.

If you stack up some 'burning' money you should look out for lots. Quadrans often slip past the net of rich people with deep pockets when they are hidden in job lots.

That augustus is a nice type - do you intend to try and clean it up a bit? Not sure if it would help or hinder - its nicely highlighting whats left of the IVLIA TRAD in the wreath.

I don't think I will clean it up at all. I will have to see it in hand but I kind of like how it looks right now. As for the quadrans they don't really interest me too much I just saw one for cheap and took my chance
