I'm still trying to figure out the best way to organize the small but significant things I find in my change. I like the idea of just throwing it all in a jar and periodically rolling it, I will give that a go for now.

I have stacks.

American coins go in the folders (I'm fine with filling folders with circulated clad because I don't see it every day and so my standards are low), and duplicates go in the stacks on my desk (to sell at slightly above Canadian face). I also put common foreign finds in there - 5 pence, 10 pence, and 100 won for now. All other foreigns just go in my foreign bag(s) - formerly one big bag, but now lots of little bags sorted by country (and a few cop-outs like "BIZARRE", "NO DENOMINATION" and "I CAN'T READ ARABIC").
