Good afternoon all!

I have got this Edward VII ascension medal but I personally haven't seen this variety before. I understand there were quite a few medals produced to celebrate this event but I haven't seen this type before, have any of you? Under the bust of Edward appears to be the signature of Lauer, the famous producer of 'toy' coins. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jack.

That appears to be the one! I have found one in the collection of the British museum here http://www.britishmuseum.org/resear...854&partId=1 and it appears that they were originally gilded.
Out of interest, would you reveal how much you sold your example for? Thanks, Jack.

Mine had most of the guiding intact however I still didn't get that much for it. I can't remember the exact amount but it wasn't anymore than £3.
