There's a very good reason why places like that don't allow cellphones. It's because it relays information way too fast and gives robbers good cues for a fast stickup. They can tell you which customers leaving the place have lots of cash or are leaving with lots of gold. They should use this policy at banks, too. In Mexico they don't allow cellphones in banks, for example, because there have been way too many robberies and they deal with cash a lot in that country. The man is just protecting his business from sloppiness, which is something I respect.

After one day it doesn't seem that I can edit the topic....

Personally in a forum I like knowing the bad about a company. If it's the employees then they make the business look bad. I've had similar experiences at Gatewest Coins and Colonial Acres. Not to discourage potential buyers, just be cautious of bad employees. Good employees are hard to come by apparently. I've only met a few dealers and what I've seen most are passionate about the hobby.

I should have added another positive comment about J&M. When I was there, waiting seemingly forever for the guy to come back from the vault, another employee chatted with me about life in China, etc. He was very nice and friendly and was apologetic for his co-workers slowness.

Anyone familiar with the coin trade knows that you cannot have exceptional knowledgeable employees................those people start their own coin business.
