austrokiwi Pillar of the Community 2087 Posts	Posted 07/13/2013 01:07 am I live in Austria. In Germany and Austria Bank transfer is often the only way you can pay. I am actually far more comfortable with this simply because its a normal part of daily life even my doctor prefers bank transfer payments. Bacchus2 Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2889 Posts	Posted 07/13/2013 02:28 am I think ebay's (UK) accounts are held in Luxemburg - for tax avoidance reasons, but their staff are mostly based in Ireland. Not all ebay's have Paypal. The big ones like US, Canada, and the UK certainly do. Some of the others don't.
