In the not too distant past these were available at very reasonable prices. I think it is probably 'good' and someone had the not so bright idea to polish it. It may have been intended as a jewelry setting.

I'm a little worried about the missing detail in the lettering: "IASILEWS", not "BASILEWS". I've seen that on Bactrian coins but not on Alexander the Great coins.

Looks more like a museum replica.
Depends on the price you got it for though.
