The 38 would list at ~ $30 and the 53 is OK in grade but found everywhere in perfect condition,... so of no special value. The 44's are everywhere also. It might save you some time to list a few dates in the other denominations (if there are other denominations). Like the others have said, do your homeword and find the potentials for hi worth, then post them here for opinions. I actually love to go to peoples homes and share what I know with them to help get them started, however, I live in Saskatoon, so just a little to far to travel. The other good advice in this thread ... go to the RCNA convention... it's here in Winnipeg and there will be a LOT of very knowledgeable individuals there.. Just to let you know that at the end of the month here in winnipeg is the RCNA... lots of VERY knowledgeable people and I'm sure the bourse will be filled with some very interesting items... a good place to poke your head around and get a better feel for this hobby if you're into that....
