In our society, if Ouija boards really connected with spirits-some good and some evil-and some of those evil spirits possessed or tortured people don't you think there would have been a lawsuit or two by now?
I'm just sayin...
Without some conclusive video evidence, what lawyer would take your case, even if an
unseen spirit truly had brain-jacked you? We're still trying to decode all the rules guiding the natural world. Our understanding of the supernatural, the metaphysical, the psychic world- that could be the next major area of serious, university-level, empirical research someday.
As unlikely as an Ouija board's efficacy may be, try not to make the same mistake that science has made throughout the ages: thinking we've uncovered all the big answers to things, that we've reached the pinnacle of human understanding. It's the height of hubris, IMO.
Here's a hypothetical for you: perhaps what people term "insanity" is simply a complex, little understood, form of spirit possession, as our ancestors once surmised. Don't discount every possibility simply because it doesn't fit into the nice, neat box that encompasses current scientific principles of understanding.
