Opinions on grade, and originality of surfaces. I bought this coin about 10 years ago and something seems off about it. I wish I could capture the true feel of the coin, but this was the best I could do. The color is grey with a tinge if brown.

G-VG details the reverse is much nicer how much did you pay. I agree it looks off probably nothing but don't hold me to that.cause I could be wrong

I paid $225 for it, but keep in mind that was 10 years ago. I believe the weak areas on the reverse is due to a weak strike and or a light planchet. I don't think it is original. I still like it and think it is still worth more than that today.

G6. I believe that vermontesium is correct that it has been lightly cleaned, but I strongly believe that it's market acceptable. $450-$500 coin!

VG details. It does look like it was cleaned decades earlier and retoned. I love it and would be honored to have it in my collection
