It looks to me like a seal because the letters are written back, but I can not read anything! I would be grateful for some help from you guys!

Curious piece. I am no expert on seals but the ones I have seen are usually 'carved' into a stone. Looks more like a 'stamp' but the edges are raised which would not work well for that purpose. I have seen some research on Roman amphora which seemed to show evidence of mass production (the openings were all the same size to very close tolerances). Perhaps this is a 'stamp' used to mark a clay object before it hardened. "Made in Viminacium" if you will

Looks a bit like some of the old lead and tin soldiers we find sometimes while out detecting, but missing the soldier. What's the dimensions of it?
