Hi,
I am not dedicated Australian NCLT collector, but very like the design of all circulation coins and enjoy to buy some interesting issues. Since I prefer new NCLT with old design rather then actual coin, different silver replicas catch my eye.

Recently, found on ebay this coin:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-KOOKAB...em2a29a34718

So, this isn't Square Kookaburra 1/2oz coin, like 2002, 2003, 2004 edition, but commemorates square penny.
But I can not find info for this coin, seems that this coin wasn't issued as Australian legal tender, but has Palau or Niue denomination.

Could someone help, please?

Another issue of Kookaburra Square Penny:

Which from above 2 coins more valuable for collectors?

Hi

Second coin is definately a genuine Royal Australain Mint release worth anywhere from 60-100 dollars with average sell of about 85

Can't find any record of 1st coin and with no obverse pic I cannot say it is genuine

Hard to say as I would think the theme is worth more than where it was minted, but I don't keep on top of these things.

Thank you guys, for replies.
I like this coin, just wanted some more info on it, and seller can not provide it, he even does not have COA.

I think, the coin is minted by Perth Mint, but denomination is in Nuie dollars (but I am not sure).
Just strange, that can not find another coin nowhere.

So wanted the Square Kookaburra (that one or subscription coin), and interested in more valuable item.

I would have thought the other one was Perth Mint too but I don't see a mintmark. I think Niue is part of New Zealand (maybe) and they probably use either the Australian or New Zealand dollar.
If you have access to a reasonably new Krause you might get some information.
