This has got me completely stumped . Could the rim have been done by vice grips or ? Notice it's only on one side !! . Then there's the little shaped "U" above the "W" in IN GOD WE TRUST . The "U" does come away from the rim and was not punched in . Eye's are crossed staring at this ..

It looks damaged. Nothing in the minting process would leave a coin looking like that. It may been pressed/hammered between another coin or two? It just isn't a mint error. IMOHO

Hey Thanks COOP , I just though it looked cool . So many different kinds of PMD's that some should write a book and start a new trend .
