This game is constructed pretty well - one or two good weeks can get anyone back in the thick of things

I have to agree. It may come down to the last game. You know how often upsets happen in college football. The games to pick are well thought out also. Most could go either way so far. I'm impressed so far.

I feel like I am on a roller coaster ride. It is feast or famine for me. This is fun. Bonus points are saving me so far.

Quote: The games to pick are well thought out also I like to look for close games and try to stay away from potential blowouts(but you never know in college ball) so I try to stick to games with a point spread of less than 10 when possible unless it's a good rivalry game. Try to work in games from different conferences each week as not to load up on one conference to much, don't like to have more than two games from the same conference. Try to sprinkle in an off the radar game to mix in,and once in a while what I like to call the horri-bowl if we get a match up between two really bad teams late in the season. Quote: This game is constructed pretty well - one or two good weeks can get anyone back in the thick of things Thanks, use to play this style on a college football forum many moons ago. Except the forum mods who ran the contest didn't do a game of the week or bonus points, all five were one point each. I liked playing this format and decided to try it out last year and wanted to make it a little more exciting so I added the GOW and bonus points, and we still ended with a first place tie last season and needed a tie breaker. They sold the website to scout.com in late 2004 and moved away from this pick'em format to a point spread pick'em and they jumped it from 5 games up to 40 or so games every week. They cut it back to 20 games this season, after years of people complaining about all the games. It's still a lot of fun though but would be to hard to keep track with out software.

I agree on the compliments to the format and picks for the games. I tend to pick based on the aesthetics of the name or who's closer to me. I can do quite well with that!
