Hello,

I have a george vi 1947 Quarter with a dot following the 7 - I have seen varying prices on these and wanted to know if this is the more valuable of the two..maple leaf and dot.
Also, if a coin is in a closed case is it uncirculated?

The '47 dot sells for a great deal more than either the plain date or maple leaf variety
A pic would be very helpful.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
