@ marty. I think so.
I for example don't have it and this 2013 is my first Piedfort. I wouldn't mind picking the previous one up to go with it and I think a lot of collectors will be in the same boat.

Quote: Will this bring a higher price for the 2010 Piedfort I do not think. This is not the series, but independent products. But could happen only if: delay and price rise will hit this Piedfort, in this scenario, people during the search after Pidfort items will hype also the 2010 edition. If you like the 2013, try to get 2010 too (this is not hard) - nice coin and good pair.

The Moon Mask was not a series and it's around $300,so I hope the 2010 Piedfort does the same,wishful thinking.lol

Just noticed there was sales tax on the Piedfort I bought at the post office. No shipping charges though. Not sure why tax is charged on a bullion coin.

Just looked at my order history page and it shows my web order for the glass candy cane and my phone order. When I had called yesterday to report that my web order didn't go through, she said that she didn't see it and did a phone order - now it looks like I have both. I guess I will just wait and see what arrives and if I get both maybe it will be a hot enough coin to resell.

@ relic.
I didn't pay tax or shipping on mine. Are you in BC? I think you have to pay tax in BC now that they dropped the HST.
If not, I would go back and explain and get my money back. Should be no tax and no shipping charge from Canada Post.

Quote: The Moon Mask was not a series and it's around $300,so I hope the 2010 Piedfort does the same As I understand, Summer Moon Mask was the coin that nobody wanted it. And it drastically increased in price after report published with actual mintage (3.000 approx. - I may mistake) Do you remember the initial hype around Grand Mother mask? Hype and then cancellation/returns. Can be found for issue price. It can repeat the Summer Moon mask scenario.

@SoulBrotherNo3
I am from MB, they charged me PST. Just found out that MB is the only province to differentiate between bullion (no PST) and collector coin bullion (yes PST). News to me. ^&*(^ taxes!

Just got back from PO. Only about 500 Piedfort left. Tried to order candy cane but none were available. Apparently not until October 8th by direct ship.... The only thing I'm concerned about the Direct ship method is that there is no return. If you receive a flawed coin (say like a broken candy cane) or damaged packaging, shouldn't you be able to return it?

Allspice, the reverse side of all Canada Post receipts have 800# to call within 10 days for refund or exchange & says your receipt should be included with your return. I just received some Superman & Eagle #3 coins & all receipts give specific instructions concerning returns/refunds. I never have received anything that I did want to return.
