Good idea about a Remembrance Day coin.

How about a Murano Glass Poppy for a Remembrance Day coin?

The Mint has done many coins honouring veterans and Remberance Day. They already issued several poppy coins.
This year they had the Korean War Armistance coin.

I'm aware of previous releases.. 2004,08,10.... Just wondering if there was another release planned. Forgot about the Korean coin, but it is a completely different event.

Just caved in and got 1 Grizzly after ordering my 1st ever Niue coin, the Feng Shui Crane PF70 from MCM. Not sure of the quality from this mint & wanted to make sure it was nice, sorry raw coin CCF dealers of this great coin. I recently saw story on TV about red headed cranes & their ballet type behavior, it was awesome! Plus, who doesn't want good luck on their side. I may have to rethink October release!

Only interested in the Maple Leaf Fractional Set in October release. The previous silver set looks so nice.

@Coin Chick - Just found there was a 2005 poppy as well when I was going through the 25c section of Charlton Vol 2 last week. First I'd heard about it. I think it was only issued in a bookmark and not for circulation as it doesn't show up in Vol 1.

Wow! The 5kg silver is sooooo pretty... and the mark-up is not too bad... $10500 for 5kg.
Why, why didn't I win 649 jackpot?

Not quite. The first coloured quarter was the 2000 January Pride one. The 2004 (not 2005) Poppy was the first coloured circulation coin.

Thanks. I was winging off the top of my head and didn't have a book handy. So 4 different years in quarters. And 2 silver NCLT?
