It should be covered under PayPal Sellers Protection if you have signature required and if there is a signature on the other end if you have any sort of dispute.

PayPal covers absolutely nothing for the seller. This protection is a myth. Trust me I've been there MULTIPLE TIMES. PayPal protection DOES NOT cover the seller if the package is lost or stolen (which is usually the buyer's claim).

You need a separate insurance such as ShipSaver or others.

i concur with canadian_coins

PayPal has been terrific for us for charge backs and other claims provided if AND ONLY IF a signature was obtained on delivery. That's not so bad shipping within Canada (Canada Post) since adding signature to a parcel usually costs less than $2 extra. International shipping that has signature however, start at $30 to the States. I however, did not have much more than delayed shipping with Canada Post / USPS save for the one time a gold bar was delivered without signature and the buyer claimed it was lost. Had to refund via PayPal right away but Canada Post claims agent was very helpful in recovering the insured amount.

Is it being ship to U.S or Canada?

If you ship within Canada, you don't have to declare what it is that you shipping. How does Canada Post know that it is coin that being lost? I mean if you upped your insurance to the amount you wants to insure?
